Irish Language GAA competition

11th Mar 2025

P7's attended an Irish Language GAA competition on Friday the 7th March. This event was organised by Tempo Maguires GAC as part of Seacthain na Gaeilge Award and was held in the Bawnacre in Irvinestown. The children really enjoyed it and they used some basic Irish language throughout like pass me the ball and other football related phrases.

There was a prize for one pupil in each school who made an effort to use the Irish language throughout the game. Aimee Doyle was the winner in our school. Well done Aimee!
